# How it works

2 simple steps

1. Choose an asset you want to **HODL** and set a duration and amount to start.

SOL, **bSOL,** mSOL, USDC and USDT are supported for now.

Optionally activate [DIAMOND HAND mode](/introduction/diamond-hand-mode.md), which prevents any early retrieval of assets

2. Make it to the end of the duration to get a [memento](/mementos/what-are-they.md), which you can mint as a compressed NFT.&#x20;
